I highly recommend Keynotopia for creating UI mockups and designing apps
Keynotopia enables you to use Apple Keynote or Microsoft PowerPoint to visualize, test and demo your application ideas quickly and cheaply, without doing any design work or writing a single line of code.
It includes thousands of wireframe and high fidelity vector user interface components and royalty free icons for mobile, web and desktop apps, all designed from scratch in Keynote and PowerPoint, and can be edited and customized without needing any design tools.
Keynotopia is used by thousands of entrepreneurs, designers, and teachers.
great talk, thanks for sharing. i was expecting him to talk about the orpheus chamber orchestra (based in nyc). it’s the only one that i’ve heard of that doesn’t have a conductor at all:
I am a entrepreneur, startup advisor, and user experience designer. Over the past three years, I've designed and helped launch more than a dozen startups, including DocVerse (Acquired by Google), Delve Networks (Acquired by LimeLight networks), TalentSpring (acquired by TalentTech), SideReel (acquired by Rovi), UStream, blist, and several others.
My latest product, Keynotopia, was launched in 3 hours, with a $47.50 budget, and had its first paying customer in the first 10 minutes.
Previously featured on Inc magazine, Entrepreneur magazine, Smashing Magazine, Swiss Miss, and the unofficial apple weblog.

Kareem,
That’s interesting. Thanks for pointing my attention to it.
I haven’t heard of Orpheus before, but it certainly looks like an intriguing model. Wondering if that might work for startups
I will make sure I check them out next time I am in NYC.
Cheers!
